WVRC now maintains three fully staffed emergency, trauma and critical care facilities (Waukesha, Grafton and now Racine). Dr. John Beltz, DVM, said, "Adding the Racine hospital allows WVRC to expand our mission of providing patients, clients and primary veterinarians with the highest quality emergency and specialty veterinary medical care. Our clients and patients are treated with the utmost care, compassion and respect."
Dr. Jeffrey Meinen, DVM, DACVS, added, "The Racine/Kenosha area was in need of a 24-hour emergency and specialty veterinary hospital and the WVRC staff is extremely pleased to provide our services."
The WVRC Racine hospital is now open serving the public and referring veterinary community at 4333 S. Green Bay Road. The current hours of operation are 6pm - 8am during the week and 24 hours on the weekend. In mid-May the hospital will transition to full-time 24/7 hours.
